【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedforuseinthelaboratoryorfieldinevaluatingaviationturbinefuelcleanliness.Achangeinfiltrationperformanceafterstorage,pretreatment,orcomminglingcanbeindicativeofchangesinfuelcondition.Relativefilterabilityoffuelsmayvary,dependingonfilterporosityandstructure,andmaynotalwayscorrelatewithresultsfromthistestmethod.Causesofpoorfilterabilityinindustrial/refineryfiltersincludefueldegradationproducts,contaminantspickedupduringstorageortransfer,incompatibilityofcommingledfuels,orinteractionofthefuelwiththefiltermedia.Anyofthesecouldcorrelatewithorificeorfiltersystemplugging,orboth.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedurefordeterminingthefilterabilityofaviationturbinefuels.Note1ASTMspecificationfuelsfallingwithinthescopeofthistestmethodareSpecificationsD1655andD6615andthemilitaryfuelscoveredinthemilitaryspecificationslistedin.1.2Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletofuelsthatcontainundissolvedwater.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
