【摘要】:ThispartofIEC61753containstheminimumtestandmeasurementrequirementsandseveritylevelsthatafibreopticpassivechromaticdispersioncompensator(PCDC)usingsingle-modedispersioncompensatingfibre(DCF)mustsatisfyinordertobecategorisedasmeetingtheIECstandard,CategoryC–ControlledEnvironments.Generally,PCDCsareusedtoreducethemagnitudeofchromaticdispersion(CD)betweenregeneratorsbyaddingCDtothespanthathasasignoppositetothetotalCDofthecabledfibreandcomponents.Therequirementscovernon-connectorisedPCDCswithsingle-modefibreatbothendsusedinsingle-channeltransmissionandwavelengthdivisionmultiplexing(WDM)transmissioninsinglemodefibres(SMF)(IEC60793-2-50,B1/B2/B4).
