【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversseamlesscarbonsteelpipeforhigh-temperatureservice(Note1)inNPS1/8toNPS48[DN6toDN1200](Note2)inclusive,withnominal(average)wallthicknessasgiveninASMEB36.10M.Itshallbepermissibletofurnishpipehavingotherdimensionsprovidedsuchpipecomplieswithallotherrequirementsofthisspecification.Pipeorderedunderthisspecificationshallbesuitableforbending,flanging,andsimilarformingoperations,andforwelding.Whenthesteelistobewelded,itispresupposedthataweldingproceduresuitabletothegradeofsteelandintendeduseorservicewillbeutilized.Note18212;Itissuggested,considerationbegiventopossiblegraphitization.Note28212;ThedimensionlessdesignatorNPS(nominalpipesize)[DN(diameternominal)]hasbeensubstitutedinthisstandardforsuchtraditionaltermsasx201C;nominaldiameter,x201D;x201C;size,x201D;andx201C;nominalsize.x201D;1.2Supplementaryrequirementsofanoptionalnatureareprovidedforseamlesspipeintendedforuseinapplicationswhereasuperiorgradeofpipeisrequired.Thesesupplementaryrequirementscallforadditionalteststobemadeandwhendesiredshallbesostatedintheorder.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.4Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Sections11,12,and13ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
